A Trip to Bohol: Chocolate Hills, Tarsiers and Butterfly Farm at Sagbayan Peak
One of the famous Philippine tourist destination is the Chocolate Hills in Bohol. With its unusual geological formation, Chocolate Hills is considered a natural treasure. I went there last December 2009 with friends. It was my first time to see the actual hills; all that was discussed on our HEKASI, SIBAKA or History class during our school days now came to reality. It was splendid.

From Cebu City, we took the fastcraft from the pier going to Tubigon, Bohol early that morning. It took us around 2 hours to arrive. From there, we took a public van going to Sagbayan Peak, in Sagbayan, Bohol. It’s our nearest venue to see the chocolate hills, tarsier, and the butterfly farm because it was just a short unplanned trip and we need to return to Cebu at the end of the day. Here are some photos taken during the trip.
