Digital Stethoscope Concept, Already Implemented

I was browsing earlier my archive email and found a backup copy of our final project for our CS356 – Technopreneurship class with Ms. Mau Bello in Ateneo de Zamboanga University (ADZU) last 2008. Our final project was to create, present, and pitch an IT business concept to a panel of judges.

Our project was about creating a Digital Stethoscope using mobile phones since the trend of applications are going mobile. Here’s our presentation that time:

Things I can do with Samsung Smart TV: Going Social!

So I was able to get a sneak-peek last time about this awesome and entertaining new TV released by Samsung called Samsung Smart TV. I am impressed on the new innovations this TV has to offer. We can call it fancy but it’s more to that. It’s a total entertainment machine connecting you to the Internet. Awesome, right?

With the Internet connectivity? What things can I do with this Samsung Smart TV? Of course, go online and socialize!

I am fond of watching movies and reality shows and at the same time update my social networking accounts like Facebook and Twitter. I have my Internet-connected gadgets with me to post some status updates when I’m watching. Sometimes, I tend to miss some portions of the shows because I am more focused on my gadget trying to type and send status updates. But, we need not to worry with Samsung Smart TV, it allows you to watch shows and update your status at the same time. No more missing of scenes!

Enabling Mobile-friendly WordPress Sites

I was checking my Google Analytics traffic and noticed that significant number of my visitors are using mobile web browsers. So I decided to have it my blog more mobile-friendly and installed MobilePress. So far, it works smoothly without a hassle.

MobilePress is a free WordPress plugin which turns your WordPress blog into a mobile friendly blog when viewed on a cell phone. MobilePress also allows you to create custom mobile themes for different handheld devices and mobile browsers such as the iPhone, Opera Mini and Windows Mobile.

If you’re using WordPress as your blog or website platform, you can try and install this plugin. There are actually a number of other plugins similar to this one, here’s a list for you to check out.
