The Department of Tourism (DOT) recently launched its campaign with simple yet catchy line – It’s More Fun In The Philippines. With the help of our Filipino netizens across social media sites like Facebook and Twitter, the campaign became so viral which the hashtag #ItsMoreFunInThePhilippines became a trending topic on Twitter.
So I thought of joining the craze and created some meme of the campaign…
The Fine City of Singapore (Marina Bay)
I was in Singapore last month for a short business travel, I attended the BlackBerry DevCon Asia 2011. And of course, it’s a good opportunity to explore the fine city of Singapore. Yes, as is fine as FINE – read this article to know more what I mean.
Since I have limited time to explore this beautiful city, I only manage to roam around the Marina Bay Area. Here are some photos I took using my mobile phone.

HOW TO BE ALONE by Tanya Davis
If you are at first lonely, be patient. If you’ve not been alone much, or if when you were, you weren’t okay with it, then just wait. You’ll find it’s fine to be alone once you’re embracing it.
We could start with the acceptable places, the bathroom, the coffee shop, the library. Where you can stall and read the paper, where you can get your caffeine fix and sit and stay there. Where you can browse the stacks and smell the books. You’re not supposed to talk much anyway so it’s safe there.
There’s also the gym. If you’re shy you could hang out with yourself in mirrors, you could put headphones in (guitar stroke).
And there’s public transportation, because we all gotta go places. Read more…
