How to Disable Google+ Instant Photo Uploads

I recently updated my Android phone’s software and then I noticed that all my recent photos taken using my phone was instantly uploaded to my Google+ account. It was kinda shocking because I was not prompted of the option to have it automatically uploaded or was it my fault not checking the settings. It’s scary for those who takes some random photos which is quite sensitive or private (well, although it will be on your private album). At any rate, still scary.

Anyway, to disable this Instant Upload feature, here’s a video on how to do it:

If you have Google+ App installed on your Android phone, please check the settings to make sure you’re safe.

Zamboanga Museum Grounds (Fort Pilar, Zamboanga City)

Zamboanga Museum (Fort Pilar)

Photowalk at the Zamboanga Museum Grounds, part of the Fort Pilar in Zamboanga City. It’s a museum, so no picture taking is allowed inside the museum hallway. So, we took photos of the facade and inside grounds of the Museum, Fort Pilar. With me were Laoshi Jen and Laoshi Jill. Here are the photos:

Zamboanga City Hall and Rizal Park

Zamboanga City (Cuidad de Zamboanga), my hometown, is said to be the third oldest City in the Philippines. Dubbed as the Asia’s Latin City because of the Chavacano (Spanish Creole) dialect, it is a highly urbanized city situated down south of the Philippines, under the Zamboanga Peninsula Region.

Zamboanga City Hall and Rizal Park

The City Hall of Zamboanga City (Ciudad de Zamboanga) reflects its age, although it has been renovated for maintenance. Here are some photos of the City Hall’s facade and the Rizal Park.

The Zamboanga City Hall houses different local government offices aside from the Office of the City Mayor, Mayor Celso Lobregat. It is located in downtown or pueblo. It is located along N.S. Valderoza Street, Zamboanga City.

Yakan Village, Zamboanga City

Last Saturday was the 4th Mindanao Bloggers Summit which I was not able to attend because of flight difficulty. Yesterday was the City Tour for participants which I was able to catch up. Upon arrival at the Zamboanga Airport, I immediately contacted Ms. Yolynne Medina that I want to join the tour.

First stop of the tour is the Yakan Village located in Upper Calarian, Zamboanga City. Here are some photos taken during our visit and it’s my first visit actually.

Here you can find local Yakan weavers and their products for sale. You should visit the place for authentic manually weaved textiles.
