Cebu IT Industry

Been here in Cebu for more than a month now. It was really a short notice job offer I got yet I  accepted it and moved on from the freelance consultancy job I do (which are mostly work- at- home offshore projects) to the corporate IT industry. So now, here I am enjoying my job as a PHP Developer in a BPO firm.

Cebu IT Industry is getting bigger, I may say. IT firms are everywhere – call centers, software development company, technical support, IT consultancy, web development, etc. There are IT parks and complexes built to house these firms, such as the Asiatown IT Park and the Cebu Business Park. As usual, the customer support industry or the call center industry is famous here. They have international companies here such as Convergys, Teletech, Sykes, and eTelecare.
