Why is everyone over with the new Google Chrome (beta) Browser? Is it that it’s a new thing to play with? Perhaps, and yes I am over with it too right now. Over my Plurk timeline, I see updates from my friends saying that they are enjoying and impressed with the performance of Google Chrome, espcially the speed. I, too, am impressed with it with its sleek design and currently greatful to use it.I have downloaded Chrome since it went live for public download. I also referred some friends to try it out. Majority says that they are playing nice with Google Chrome but few says they’re much comfortable with Firefox. “I will wait Google Chrome to release its verson 1. Will wait until they fix some bugs during the beta version.” as one of my friends asserted. Fine, then.

So far, so good as this point. Having read the Google Book Comic for Chrome, they showcased what new features we will enjoy with Google Chrome. Google Chrome is currently available for download to all Windows XP and Vista users; Mac and Linux users will have to wait for now. For sure Google will hand them to you as well the soonest time possible, I suppose.

Another feature that I am intrigued with is that it is multi-threaded. Maybe it’s the reason why it performs faster compared wih Firefox. As it is an open-source browser labelled as Project Chromium, codes in Google Chrome are all open-source which includes the Google’s V8 Javascript Engine. As it is a group effort leaded by Google to deliver faster, safer, and reliable browser for the web users, developers are invited to join the Project Chromium and help the web move forward. And, just like the regular browser, Chrome also allows you to manage web history and bookmarks. Downloading is simple; no complicated downloader involved and has nice downloading animation. All downloads can be viewed in a separate webpage by hitting Ctrl+J (Ctrl+H for history).

Oh, if you want to get go into stealth mode, try to which to Incognito Mode. This allows you to browse anonymously without tracking your history and cache. If you’re currently using Chrome, try pressing Ctrl+Shift+N to activate it.

Hoping to hear your experiences with playing Google Chrome, will really appreciate it. Thank you!
