The Google Technology User Groups (GTUGs) Philippines is now here in Zamboanga City. Earlier today, Ms. Aileen Apolo (Google Philippines Representative) sent me a direct twit and said that I should start a local chapter of the GTUG Philippines. I am already a member of the group since it started last month. The group was officially listed in the official GTUG directory and already did some meet-ups and webinars. Unfortunately, I was not able to attend because I’m in Zamboanga. But I did attend two of Google’s event already: Google + Globe Developers Workshop and the Google DevFest Manila last year.
I am an avid fan and user of Google products, so why not accept what Ms. Aileen said. She then created a webpage for the GTUG Philippines, Zamboanga. I already set an online form for those who are interested to join the local chapter and a Google group for the mailing list. So, if you happen to be nearby our place and likes Google alot; a developer, programmer, blogger, or just a lurker, you can join the group and let’s start sharing about Google’s developer technology. There are already few who signed up and I am looking forward for the list to grow and we’ll soon do meet-ups locally, seminars or talks.
Hope to meet you soon and let’s start discussing, learning and sharing about Google Technologies.
