Yes. I am obliged to read, read and read. This is in preparation for my undergraduate degree requirement in Computer Science, my project/thesis.

I may say that my project is very ambitious but I believe that it’s viable. The idea actually came from one of the instructor in Ateneo de Zamboanga University, Computer Science Department. Mr. Dulaca, one of the best teacher I know, has huge ideas for IT project proposal and lucky enough to have one of his ideas. Mind you, he graduated in UP with degree in BS Math major in Computer Science, and went to UP Los Baños for his Master’s degree in Computer Science. Bravo! Hehehe. Read the rest of this entry »

Today, we had a documentary viewing. It’s the PBS documentary film about “Growing Up Online”, on how Internet changes the life of the youth. Watch it here.

Here’s a peek on my work desk; where I spend most of my time, if not in school or elsewhere, working.

Expect to see my desktop and laptop both working. Image editing and layouting works best with the laptop while coding and localhost testing works smoothly with my desktop PC. You will also see my iPod Shuffle synching with iTunes, which keeps me alive when I am so sleepy at school. Read the rest of this entry »

Ni hao, peng you! (Hello, friend!)

This semester, I enrolled to a foreign language class - FL 101 (Mandarin Chinese). It’s not a curriculum requirement for Computer Science students but I just want to learn Chinese as it is the most spoken language in the world. Might as well add more to the population…

Prior to enrolling to this course, I was looking for a tutor early this year for some basic Chinese lesson. Then, a school memo was published announcing the new course offering in Ateneo, the Mandarin class. I was surprised and delighted. Thankful, as well.

During enrollment, I definitely alloted time for this class and I am now a student learning Mandarin. Read the rest of this entry »

It’s Monday - 3am. I am here, browsing, surfing and just finished modifying my blog theme. Now, blogging.

*sigh*

I feel bad that yet again the great procrastinator in me strikes again. Times when I feel static, stupid and dumb. Which simply means that I don’t deliver whatever work output that is expected of me but just plain delays. I tend to relax and postpone tasks. Although I have work outputs, but less than what is expected.

Why is this so? Maybe it’s because of the mindset I have about weekends - that I should take some rest and enjoy life! Yeah! I should have time to relax after a whole week of boring school routine and work. I guess I deserve some rest. Hahah!

But then I believe that there is no much time for delays and I need to re-arrange myself in terms of deadlines. I need to reprogram myself, again… and again. I need to work double-time.

*sigh*
