Paypal Offers New Bank Withdrawal Features in the Philippines

I recently had a problem with my Paypal Withdrawal to my Unionbank EON Visa Account. It is taking more than 5 days already and the status is still Pending, not the usual time I wait from my previous withdrawal transactions. I already emailed customer support and let them address this issue but for 3 days now, no one answered my 4 queries.

Earlier today, I received an email from Paypal announcing their new offer of letting their Philippine customers withdraw banks directly to their bank account, not just for Unionbank EON Visa alone. Just the last quarter of 2007, they offered funds withdrawal only to Unionbank EON Visa account holders. And I had a smooth transactions with it, not until recently which I do not know what exactly is happening.

Reading some blogs, I stumbled Mike Abundo‘s entry about this new service Paypal is offering to their Philippine customers. He says about a problem encountered with Unionbank customer service, of not giving their bank SWIFT codes… again, if you wish to opt to withdraw funds to your local bank account with Paypal, you can see the lists of Philippine Banks SWIFT codes here.

Hi chelle, hindi ka nagiisa, nagwithdraw din ako sa paypal last Sept. 10,2008 until now wala parin sa aking account pero completed na yung status. kainis nga eh. 1 month na sa oct 10, di pa rin nagrereflect sa account ko. di ko sure kung Unionbank o Paypal ang may problem.

Sorry to hear that you’re having same problem with Chelle. Na-experience ko na rin yan dati… sa Paypal ang problem. nagkaroon daw ng system update tapos di nasama sa processing. But I got my money after a month, and hoping that you cna have yours as well. Soon.

Same problem here, I transferred/withdraw my money from paypal to eon cyberaccount Sept 15, until now inde pa rin nagrereflect sa acccount ko. Sabi ng unionbank, meron daw problem ang paypal system in between sept 11 – Sept 15. Hanggang ngaun wala pa rin ang pera ko…nakakainis. Tumawag ako sa paypal, wala daw silang matandaan nagkaproblem ang system nila….wala pa rin ang pera ko! Malalaki laki rin un…$300 plus din un…kinakabahan na ko…

wilmer, kakacheck ko lang ng unionbank account ko, dumating na ung pera ko from paypal to unionbank…lagpas isang buwan din ang hinintay ko….grabeh! inde na ko gagamit ng paypal…..nag iisip nga ako kung ano gagamitin ko ngaun sa business ko….any suggestion guys?

I encountered the same problem. I requested for transfer Sept 11. It was completed on the same date but I got my money more than a month after that. Grabe, akala ko nga di ko na marereceive yun.
