My Recent Food Trip in Davao City
Been to Davao City twice a couple of weeks ago, one week after the other for a business trip. And when I am out of town and after all the meetings and stuff, I go out and indulge myself with food. Food tripping is always a part of my trips, so here are some shots I took of the foods I tried in Davao City recently.

Durian Sculpture in Davao International Airport
If you’re visiting Davao, don’t forget to check this famous Durian Sculpture outside the Davao International Airport. Just the guard around if you can’t locate it easily but it’s near the taxi lane. As Durian fruit is plenty in Davao, this landmark serves as an icon to Davao’s popular fruit. The Durian Sculpture is a masterpiece of the versatile artist Kublai Millan.

Davao’s Eden Nature Park
I arrived last Sunday in Davao City to conduct a training. Before my travel, I checked out some places where I can visit during Sunday since the training will start Monday, the next day. First, I decided to visit the People’s Park, but I was too early to visit the park at around 10am. The park opens at 1pm during Sundays. My bad not knowing the schedule.
So I decided to go back to the hotel and planned to visit Eden Nature Park and Philippine Eagle Center. I asked friends around about the travel time to those places, and they said that it’s quite far. Read more…
