Really. Is your OS that good? Are you already comfortable with Windows XP or Vista? What about Ubuntu or other Linux flavors? What about Apple Mac? At school, one of my subject (CS218) discusses about how operating system works and how to make it more efficient to do processes. Everything thought was necessary to distinguish if an operating system is good or not.
Is it with the name alone? I bet most of you disagree. Common to home and office desktops uses Windows based OS and some Linux. Majority for servers, perhaps, uses Linux. And the rich goes for Mac. Really there is a margin with the OS distribution in the market, it depends on the purpose and personal preference of the user as I see it. So, what about if it goes with the name itself?
