The Google Wave Preview
A couple of weeks ago, I viewed this video over YouTube about the new and exciting product of Google called Google Wave previewed during the Google I/O 2009.
Google Wave is coming soon later this year. The video showcases the product preview about the Google Wave platform, some appication demos and usage of APIs, allowing Wave to extend to other web applications. Generally, Google Wave is a tool for online collaboration and communication, which makes things (e.g. chat, email, text, documents, photos, videos, maps, notes, etc.) more integrated, easy to manage and more interactive. The video also show demos on many uses of Google Wave.
It has personalization, privacy settings and more productive engines built-in that makes this tools yet another breakthrough from Google. I personally like the live transmission and the use of the natural language processing technology for the text spell checking/suggestion. Below is a screenshot of a sample use of Google Wave (image courtesy of Google Wave):
I bet this tool will bring another edge in the web technology arena and I am really excited to use this soon.
