I received many inputs and comments about my last post about Paypal Pending Withdrawal. For my withdrawal, I made the transaction last January 24, 2008 and still pending up to this moment, please refer to the screenshot below:

Anyway, what I am glad for is that I know for the fact that I am not the only one experiencing such problems but many fellow Filipinos and some, I read, are Malaysian Paypal users as well.
I just want to share to you some discussion links about this Paypal Pending Withdrawal issues so that you will be guided on the community updates:
You can read some comments on each and participate by sharing your status. I know the list will continue to grow until Paypal will clear all out withdrawals. I need mine to pay my bills…. For now, I requested our company to send out my pay via Xoom.com

hi jerome.. i also read an article from a malaysian blogger. he also withdrew funds last January 24, 2008 and Paypal hasn’t processsed it yet. Still in pending status. For a while I thought it’s affecting only Eon Card Users or Filipinos, but I was wrong.. Even a malaysian blogger is having the same problem with paypal.

Maybe it has something to do with the date, January 24 hehe kidding. Hope this problem will soon be solve. It somehow affected my “work” too.

Not quite. Some did the withdrawal earlier and later January 24 and are still in pending status.

Some of my “work” also has some problems with paypal. A site I usually visit is forced to discontinue its business because of paypal.

It seems that there is very little hope. Paypal does not reply to any emails. Apparently, they have the worst customer service. I have a moneybookers account and they reply within 48 hours no matter what the topic is. And I am always successful with moneybookers withdrawals.
It also seems that nobody is successful in getting out of the “pending” status in their accounts. What happened to our money… is it lost in cyberspace? This is extremely terrible service and it makes Paypal look bad really. How can a business run efficiently using Paypal if Paypal does not run efficiently… there are so many glitches and problems.
Simply really frustrated. I need my money desperately to pay bills etc and run the business!!!

The same problem…. my transaction is pending for about two weeks. I wrote tons of emails and the support is just f*ck*d. I’m really disappointed of that. What they thinking???? We talk about money the HELL. Whats this they took my money and don’t let me to use them. The funny thing is that they are so famous. … Really really disappointed…paypal or paynopal

Thank you Alex. I guess we still have hope with this issue. What I just hate about it is that Paypal did not even care to post an announcement or send mass email to all users affected. Such a lame customer service.

Paypal has their own blog and they can’t even address this issue on their blog? What a cowardly attitude!
If it is a technical glitch, they should at least re-assure the Paypal customers that they are doing something about it. Their non-transparency is what makes people hate them and distrust them.
So, when are they going to find a solution to their problem?

It’s a good news that Paypal knows about the current problem their members are experiencing. I just hope they’ll work double time to fix this system error and give us our money before valentines day! hehheh.. sayang naman walang pera sa valentines..hhehehhe..

Hi there, I wanted to tell you that what’s happening to you is happening in Italy as well! We are experiencing this same terrible problem and on Ebay Italy there are hundreds, or even thousands of us awfully upset because our money is blocked who knows where and Paypal is giving us the same silly and ridiculous answers that you get: What kind of technical problem can be this anyway? That is taking more than 2 weeks to be settled?
The whole thing seems to be unreal and a sort of nightmare. We all are appalled at discovering that this same problem is affecting many other Ebay countries in the world:

Hello, in Romania is the same, i have initiaded a withdrawal in 22Jan, and is till Pending! now we are in 8FEB!!! i got a reply from them saying that they can confirm that the status is “PENDING” duh!
how they figured this out! must be a genius to send this answers, and i am really pissed b/c they dont tell us what the heck is going on, i’m wondering if they were under any hack attack or something, if so i want to see that little hacked hanged into a public place! no human rights for thieves! kill ‘em all !
so.. i’m still waiting, i already intruct my clients to payme via other methods till this clears up, and i have lot of $ “PENDING” damn..!
